Do you need your current website overhauled? Tired of the old one?
Sometimes we need a new style, brand, something slicker - or maybe just tuned for search engines.
Does it need to be Self-editable? (this is always a good thing) - i.e. a site which you can log into and change text at will from any computer anywhere.
When redoing your site you should focus on the look and feel and functional elements of your new website.
Work your way through the following points.
Does it load up FAST!- people get bored very fast when there are other links to click.
Look and Style - How it looks, Brand consistancy (fonts, colours, imagery) and does it appeal to your target audience (not neccessarily (and especially not) you!)
Navigation - Can people get to where they want to go easily and quickly?
Functionality - Can you update it and add features when you need to?
Features - Tools and usefull information for your customers to benefit from and keep them coming back
Technology - Will it need to talk to or integrate with other forms of media, is it to be browser sensitive, what connection speeds do you need to cater for?
Marketing Message - What does your customers or clients need to see in order to make them to react and do what you need them to do?
Search Engine Optimisation - Relevant keywords in page specific content so you can be found by the right people. (Keywords are the words people use on google, yahoo and bing.)
Home Page Elements
